This month I made three Halloween projects! I just love all decorations for this holiday. I need to decorate the house, it has just been to hot to get into the attic.

Witches Boot Card

This is done using the Stocking Die out of the Winter Mini. The ruffle is done out of paper I downloaded from Stamping Up.

Bat Door Candy Holder

Shelli showed this on her blog. It is made out of the petal cone die and pennant die for the wings. I can't wait to hang it on my kids doors on Halloween. I am sure the would rather me fill it with money instead of candy!!

Witches Feet

I saw this card done with a stamp set of the witches feet which I didn't have so I ended up using the Stocking Builder Punch in the Winter Mini. The paper is a digital paper download, Cast a Spell. I love being able to download the SU paper. Those that know me, know I am a paper hoarder, being able to download and print it enables me to keep on hoarding!

Long Time no Post!
Wow, Wow! Can you believe it has been over a year since my last post? I worked a ton last year and really tried to get a lot of scrapbooking done. It seems like I never catch up with that. Hopefully I will be posting a lot more. At least before next August.

Milk Carton Halloween Box

I really like how this came out. It uses two of the milk carton die cutouts. Make sure that you cut off the last section of each one, but not the side with the tab. I just love to make boxes.

This card uses the Nautical stamps and paper from Stampin' Up! I love these papers. I love them so much I also purchased them in digital form. No need to hoard them! LOL!

Wow, once again the summer has flown by! The kids start back to school on Monday. My baby is starting high school. How time flies. The Summer Mini is only good until the end of this month so if there is anything you "have to have" get your orders in!

Tiki Bar

There are a few of these awning cards going around. I have seen them with ice cream cones, cupcakes, drinks, etc. Here is my version. I think this would be a great card for a Hawaiian themed party.

Wow! March is here and about 1/2 over! Where did this month go! I tried to fit in one last St. Paddy's Day and also an Easter project.

Fifth Avenue Floral

I love this new flower set, Fifth Avenue Floral. I got the inspiration for the card from a bag I saw in the art room while I was subbing the other day. I am not sure if this is a current bag or old, but loved the color combination and the solid with the outlined flowers. I would have liked to used a softer pink on my card but this was the only ribbon I had that matched my cardstock. Guess I will have to break down and purchase more!. Ingredients:

Hot Chocolate Caddy

Yes, it does get cold in Florida! Not to cold and not often but it does. Wouldn't this be a cute gift to use one of those chilly nights. This is a lot of fun to make. I found the instructions off of Tracy Gentry's blog.

The second projects is a candy skewer. This is soooo simple to make. This tutorial was found here. This would be great to make for a class. Just watch those skewers!

November Stamp Camp

I don't know where the time has gone. It is hard to believe it is November already. Time to get geared up for the Christmas holidays! This month projects all use the Sizzix Big Shot! I love this machine, my favorite die being the Top Note. There are so many cool things you can do with it.

OCTOBER STAMP CAMP

It's October! Time for more Halloween treats! I will be glad when this holiday is over. I keep buying candy corn for my stamping craft projects. I make a sample, then eat all the candy corn and have to get more for Stamp Camp! The sad thing is, I don't even like candy corn! I just need to hold off for the chocolate.

August Stamp Camp Projects

Sorry nothing was posted last month. Our stamp club took the month off. The Stampin' Up! new catalog is due out this month. I have not gotten my copy yet, but I am looking forward to seeing all the new stamps sets. I was able to preorder a few sets, so two of our projects will use them.

Cake Card

This would be a cute card for a birthday, anniversary or wedding.. The cake uses a paint chip! I tried to get my husband to walk out of Home Depot with 15 pink paint chips, but he would take no part in it! The card also uses SU's new scallop punch, new stamp set and new pink pirouette In Colors ink! The flowers are punched from a coffee filter using the three flower punch.

May Stamp Projects

This month we have two fabulous Father's Day projects we are working on along with a really simple card. These were really fun projects to make!

When you open it up you have 6 pockets. In mine, I am including a card that has the definition of "Memories" on it, and picture of my husband and daughter (16 years ago). I will add a gift card also.

A Dad's Best Friend

This card uses the faux wood techniques. This is the best tutorial I have seen for faux wood yet. It takes a little longer than the other tutorials you will find, but it looks so realistic. The tutorial can be found here.

This is a very simple card. To make the orange slice "sugared", I stamped the image in Only Orange on white card stock, went over with a Versamark pen, used SU heat and stick powder than dipped in diamond dust! I love it.

I just love this new set out of the Occasions Mini-Tart and Tangy. It is so inexpensive and has so many possibilities.

Citrus Post It Note Holder

I found the perfect binder clip for this project at Office Depot. They are rounded and 1/2 a slice of fruit fits in it perfectly. Actually, since I am a office supply hoarder (along with stamps, paper, embellishments, etc), I had them already. I knew I would find the perfect use for them. This is a project I have wanted to do for awhile. Instead of stamping the paper you could use preprinted paper but I wanted bright springy colors!

Dare to Be Fabulous

To be honest, I did not care for this set at all when I first saw it. That is until I saw a few cards and decided I had to give it a try. I am pleased with the way this card turned out and have decided...yes I do like it!

March Stamp Club Projects

Wow, what a busy month! St. Patrick's Day and Easter within a week of each other! Time to get some spring items made! I found these candles last years a Michaels on clearance. I won't tell you how much the were but I got a great bargain on them! Oh...Ok...They were 20 cents each!! If anyone needs to hire a professional shopper look no further! I am your women! The New Stamp Room!

Well, the stamp room is finished! My mother remodeled her kitchen, and I inherited all the old cabinets! My husband and I spent about a week getting the new cabinets in and another week for me to clean the mess! I have discovered I have way to much stuff! It is now time to create and quit shopping! Well, the scrapbook expo is at the end of the month...the "no shopping" may have to wait a little while! Getting some of these cabinets up a tiny spiral staircase is not easy! I had to break them apart (I am not kidding about the breaking part) and reassemble them upstairs!

These hangers and cups are from Ikea. I love that store! I have most of my markers stored here! I actually wanted more where the cutter basket is but I couldn't find anymore. I like things symmetrical so this bugs me!!! Maybe they will have more on my next trip!

February Stamp Club

It's not even Valentines and I have started on the Saint Patrick's Day cards! I really like the way these projects turned out. They were a lot fun to make. Easter is the end of March this year; I believe a week after Saint Patrick's Day. That seems CRAZY! I don't ever remember Easter being this early in the year.

Pinch Proof Card and Mint Box!

This project is super easy. The box uses less that 1/2 sheet of cardstock and holds three mint patties. The bag of candies contained 43, so you could 13 baskests out of of bag on mints. That's if you don't snack to much while making the baskets.

I am low on Easter stamp sets so I improvised with the set, A Little Bird Told Me. I made the egg out of Marvey's giga oval punch and decorative scissors. I really have a hard time using the Soft Subtles, but over all I like it. My kids suggested I decorate the egg, but I will leave that to the club!

December Stamp Club

This month marks the end of the Fall/Winter Catalog. I am looking forward to seeing some new items! Stampin' Up! is going to be offering rub ons in the new catalog! Ya Hoo!

We are doing two projects this month. The first is a double sided bag. I think this would be great to fill one side with packages of hot cocoa and the other with a candy cane and marshmallows! What a simple and inexpensive gift!

Christmas in July

Stamp-a-Stack

I will be holding two Stamp-a-Stacks during the month of July. You will have the choice of making 10 cards for $15 or 20 cards for $30. There will be 5 different styles so you will make either two or four of each one. A light snack and beverages will be served. You are asked to bring your own adhesive. Envelopes will be provided.

Snowy Night

This card is so pretty in person. The trees are stamped with black ink the brayered over with Sky Blue ink. The sun is masked. Diamond dust is them put over the tress to give them a sparkly snowy effect! Paper for this card includes glossy white and Sky Blue. Ink is black and Sky Blue. Stamp sets include Lovely as a Tree and Wonderful Words.

July Stamp Camp

Boy! This month really sneaked up on me! I guess with all the excitement of the new catalog it came sooner than I expected!

Our first project this month is a Pocket Photo Album. This is a tiny and cute album that will fit right in your purse! It contains a cover, 6 pages for photos, and a back!

Our second project is an all occasion card using the stamp sets Pick a Petal and the level two hostess set Word On Word.

The colors of paper and ink for this project are Glorious Green and Purely Pomegranate. PP is a limited "In Color"! I really like this color combination! Perfect for summer!

The last project is a card using another new set from the catalog, Bronco Buster and the new wheel Bronco! They have four new "cowboy" sets! I ended up getting them all and I don't even like western things! What is wrong with me? The background stamp is Sanded, also a new stamp. The colors used for this card are from the new In Color collection. The ink and paper are both Blue Bayou and Soft Sky! I am not a blue person either!

June Stamp Camp Projects

This months projects consist of two cards and a milk carton.

The first card is for the Fourth Of July!

This Stampin' Up set is Artifacts which is retiring at the end of the month! I love this set! Colors used on this card include Stampin' Up's Real Red and Not Quite Navy.

The second card is my first attempt at a sculptured rose! Colors used on this card are Mellow Moss and So Saffron! This set, one of my favorites, is also retiring this month! The center of the rose has Dimensional Effects with beads. The white card stock is embossed with the cuttlebug then So Saffron Ink was lightly rubbed across it.

May Stamp Club Projects

I really had planned on getting these projects up much earlier, but couldn't really decide what projects I wanted to make! There are just to many things I want to do! This month I finally decided on an Office theme. I found these file folders today at Office Depot. Ok, I decided on the Office theme after I found the folders! There were four different colors in a package, 110 total! The colors included a deep red, teal, purple and a light gray. I was so excited to find these in colors. It sure beats having to cover the whole folder! So instead of having to cover a whole file folder, I have a lot of file folders to cover! FUN FUN FUN!

To match our file folder we are also making a Beaded Pen and a Jumbo Paperclip! I used chipboard and my Cuttlebug to die cut the flowers on the paperclip.

April Stamp Club Projects

Time for April Stamp Club! These were some last minute projects I came up with! Since Mother's Day is around the corner I decided we would make a little bag and matching card ! I used Doodle This from the Spring Mini ( Stampin Up)! I love this set! I was kinda on the fence about purchasing it, but am so glad I did! The words mom were stamped with Headline Alphabet! The scallop on the card was done with Stampin Up's slit punch! The brown paper is Stampin Up's Chocolate Chip, as is the ink used on the doodles!

My Stamping Spot!

This is the right side of the main wall. Under the window are baskets containing all of my punches. Under the black material are tons of beads from my bracelet making days! The metal shelves on the right contain all embellishments in jars. The metal shelf to the left of that is all tools, such as notch cutter, tag maker, etc. Below that in the gray and white bins are more tools, such as a dremil, circle cutters, etc..

This is the other side of the wall. All of my stamps are organized by topic in the drawers. My unmounted ones are one the top half of the bookshelf. The bins contain, wheels, extra inks, acrylic blocks, embossing powders, etc... Basically anything that has to do with stamping. In the gray and white cubes there are reinkers, chalk, chemicals, mini beads, etc..

This is my paper and ribbon area! The paper drawers were bought from Walmart. Three for about $8-9! The top of each one popped of so I could stack as many together as I wanted. Each row is organized color, starting from left to right, scraps, solid, then patterned. The 3 and 4 column is organized by topic. For instance, Dots, Travel, Flowers, Sports, etc. The last column is miscellaneous things such as vellum, page protectors, etc...My ribbon is stored around cut chipboard and separated by color in photo boxes. Smaller pieces are stored in jars above. This works so well for me! I can see exactly what I have! The left book shelf is all embellishments! The table is actually an Air Hockey Table I can't get out of the room! We had the room spiral stairs put in after the table was put in! I just put a plywood board on! Voila! A work table for 10!

Here is the desk area of my craft room! I just spent about 4 days completely reorganizing the whole room! Yes, I do spend more time organizing then actual creative work! I don't do a lot of stamping at my desk, but use it mostly for the computer and wishblade!

Milk Carton
Here is my first attempt at a milk carton!! I love this idea! I filled mine with Malt Balls! I used Bazzill cardstock for the carton and the Tag Maker to make the tag! I think it came out very cute!! I have had a hard time keeping the top closed so I choose to punch a hole and use ribbon. I like the effect! Look under patterns for the template!

Acetate Box!

Here is a box I put together last night! Someone on Splitcoast Stampers (my home away from home), wanted to know how to make a similar box. I took it a challenge! I got it figured out! Probably not the simplest way, but I did it.. I am going to try to get the directions put together and make a more detailed one to post! I love the white Staz On on the acetate!
